This page shows how people agree to receive text messages from Flightline Helicopters Inc., the company behind FAA DPE Services. Every text begins with the company name, Flightline Helicopters Inc., so people know who it is from. Texts are transactional only: confirmations, reminders, schedule changes, and links to forms and status pages for a practical test or appointment the person requested.
Where people opt in
- Website request form at faadpeservices.com/#request. The applicant, flight school or instructor enters a mobile number. Below it is an optional, unchecked box. Only people who check it get texts.
- Flight school partner form at faadpeservices.com/#schools, with the same optional box for the school contact.
- Applicant intake form, sent by email or text after a request, with the same optional box under the mobile number.
The box is never pre-checked. Requesting a test does not require agreeing to texts, and agreeing to the Terms or Privacy Policy does not sign anyone up. The Terms and Privacy Policy links sit inside the consent statement.
The form as people see it
By sending this request you agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy. Text messages are only sent if you check the box above.
Records kept
For each mobile number we record whether the person agreed, where (website, school form or intake form), and when. A number without consent on file, or that replied STOP, receives no texts; messages go by email instead.
Sample messages
Opt-out and help
The first text to each number ends with "Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply." Replying STOP stops all texts. Replying HELP returns: "Flightline Helicopters Inc. appointment texts. Help: info@faadpeservices.com. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out."
